AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): General Hatami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, said at a ceremony welcoming the 32 heroes of the Dena destroyer, "In this imposed war, we established certain rules and taught the enemies unforgettable lessons. They understood that even threatening a single Iranian soldier comes at a cost for them."
He added, "The enemy came to implement another sinister objective, but the great Iranian nation did not allow it to achieve its goal. In the 12-day war, we also did not allow it. Therefore, despite the damages inflicted and the martyrs we have offered to the Revolution, we are the true and ultimate victors. This victory is blessed by the blood of the great martyred Leader, my dear comrades, all the fighters of the armed forces, and the oppressed martyrs among the people."
General Hatami emphasized, "We had warned the Americans that the criminal Netanyahu was trying to project that Iran is at its weakest state and to drag the United States into a war with Iran, but they did not understand. In the end, several American bases and interests were leveled to the ground. They suffered heavy human casualties, and their equipment was also severely damaged."
Referring to the U.S. president's claimed naval blockade, he said, "A naval blockade is a form of piracy that seeks to bring Iran to its knees, but we will not allow them to do so."
The Commander-in-Chief of the Army, referring to the failed American military operation in Isfahan, noted, "An unsuccessful infiltration attempt by the Americans took place in the region. Due to prior forecasts and preparations by Army units, various teams from the armed forces, like the soldiers of God, descended upon them. Martyr Second Brigadier General Zare, the commander of the Army Ground Force Air Defense College, along with his comrades, immediately appeared on the scene in the shortest possible time to confront them. Using a shoulder-launched missile, they struck the American C-130 Hercules aircraft. This action caused the American mission to be halted and end in failure, forcing them to flee the scene."
